When managing money, one will definitely come across the age old adage: "Do not put all your eggs in one basket." i.e. Have a diversified portfolio under the pretext of "reducing risk". However, if you were to look at our model portfolio, it does not seem to emulate this. Hence, in our podcast, Vee and Nic answer whether or not one should have a diversified portfolio. If yes, what is the purpose of diversification?
